Who – Families with a BABY, 9 months old and younger, who live in the Batavia Public Library District, Batavia School District 101 or the city of Batavia are eligible.
What – Eligible families receive one FREE Born to Read book bag containing early literacy information and board books in English or Spanish.
Where – Families may stop by the Youth Services Desk on the lower level of the Batavia Public Library to register for a Born to Read book bag.
Gift – Share the gift of literacy. Born to Read book bags, including early literacy information and board books, may be purchased at the Batavia Public Library Check Out Desk for $35.
Partnership – The Born to Read program was developed through the partnership of the Batavia Public Library District, Batavia School District 101 and Barnes and Noble Booksellers.
