She came to prominence while serving as a manager of nurses trained by her during the Crimean War, where she organized the care of wounded soldiers. Programs for Teens

  • Escape Room – The Commute
The Commute (a digital escape room to play at home)
Solve each puzzle in order to move to the next lock. One hint: Look at what the lock is asking you to find before you read the clue — numbers, shapes, directions, colors, or letters. There’s no penalty for multiple guesses. You’ll need to visit some websites like tourist sites in San Francisco, the BART system page, in order to find the answers. Good luck!
Keep track of your time, and print out the sign or take a picture of the congratulations page at the end to show you completed it. Share it with Batavia Public Library through Facebook or Instagram!
