Request for Proposals for a new Telecommunications System and Data Network Equipment for the Batavia Public Library

The Board of Library Trustees of the Batavia Public Library District (“Library”), a special unit of local government, has authorized the Library Director to seek proposals from vendors providing telecommunications systems and data network equipment to be installed in the Library’s facility at 10 South Batavia Avenue (Illinois Route 31), at the intersection with Wilson Street, in Batavia, Illinois.

The Library intends to purchase a new VoIP telecommunications system and new Data Network Equipment, installation and support services to replace the existing older telephone system and update the existing data network. The Request For Proposal includes project background, hardware and software features as well as the needed installation and support services. The selection process is expected to encompass both a thorough review of the proposals and an interview / negotiation process.
