Fall Scavenger Hunts on Beanstack

Join Youth Services friends for some family fun Scavenger Hunts this Fall!

  • For children ages 0-14
  • You can use the same Beanstack app and login that you used for Summer Reading Club 2020
  • If you are new to Beanstack, create your family’s account
  • Register for a new scavenger hunt challenge each month: complete the activities, earn badges, and you will be entered into a drawing for a prize

Batavia History Detectives Scavenger Hunt

October 1–31
Grades 3–5 and their families

The hunt is on to find important facts relating to Batavia’s history! Go on a scavenger hunt throughout Batavia to look for clues and learn about Batavia’s history. Follow the clues to discover the secret code and win a prize. This scavenger hunt requires a QR Code capability or app on your phone.
Stop by the Library’s Reading Garden beginning Oct. 1 to look for your first clue! You must have a Batavia Public Library card or be a student at a Batavia School to participate.

Beanstack is easy to use and available both online and as a mobile app.


Visit our Batavia Public Library Beanstack website to create your account (username and password). You can also register through the app (find out how under “Get the App”).

To register for Beanstack you must have:

  • either a valid Batavia Library card or a child currently attending a Batavia school.
  • an email address
  • Once registered, you can access your account online or via the app by signing in with your username and password.
