Meeting Rooms & Study Rooms​

Request the use of a meeting room

Library meeting rooms are available for use by groups and organizations serving the residents of the Batavia Public Library District when not in use by the Library.

Please complete the Library’s Meeting Room Application and return the completed form to the Library in person, by fax to (630) 879-9118, or by mail to:

Please note that requesting a meeting room by submitting a Meeting Room Application does not automatically mean that the room has been reserved for your use.

Once your Meeting Room Application has been received, the Meeting Room Coordinator will contact you to let you know whether your reservation will be confirmed.

Meeting room maximum capacities:
  • Meeting Room – depends upon the room configuration
  • Elizabeth C. Hall Conference Room – 30 people

Reserve a study room

Study rooms can be reserved up to one day in advance. If there are no existing reservations, study rooms are also available on a walk-in basis.

Study room use is limited to a 2-hour time period.

Groups of three or more people are given priority in using the group study rooms above groups of one or two people.

Reserve a study room up to one day in advance at the Reference Desk, (630) 879-1393 ext. 200, or the Youth Services Desk, (630) 879-1393 ext. 500.

Study rooms on the main level, Adult Services

The Library has four small study rooms (for 1-2 people) and one group study room (for 3-8 people) in the Adult Services area.

Study room on the lower level, Youth Services

The Library has one group study room (for 3-10 people) in Youth Services.
