Our new mobile app makes it easier to search our catalog and access your account from your smartphone or tablet at any time.
Look for “SWAN Libraries App” in the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
Enter your library card number and PIN, or scan your library card using the camera on your phone or tablet. You can also choose to stay logged in.
You can manage your checkouts, holds, fines, and family library cards in the mobile app.
Checkouts
If items are eligible, you can renew them using the app. You can also see your checkout history if it’s enabled in your account.
Holds
View your holds information, cancel holds, and suspend holds in the mobile app.
Fines
View and pay current fines that are due in your account.
Place holds and search the library catalog for physical items, downloadables, and articles.
Search
Use the search box on the homepage to perform a search.
Results
Your results will display in a list similar to the one shown below.
Place a hold
Simply press a title from the results list. Here you can view the item information and place a hold.
1. Press the filter option you’d like to change on the search results page.
2. The available filter options will display as below.
3. Choose an associated filter by pressing one of the options.
Families with linked accounts can store multiple library cards in the app.
1. Add additional accounts by tapping Linked Accounts under the main menu.
2. The My Barcode option will include all of the Linked Cards for easy access at check out.

Scan the barcode of a book using the camera on your phone or tablet to see if it’s available at your library.
Connect to our mobile-friendly website
Click on Nearest Libraries to find the Batavia Public Library link to our mobile-friendly website. See library information such as services and hours, then view the map to get directions.
