These guidelines are in accordance with CDC recommendations that everyone (age 2+) wear a mask in public indoor settings in areas with substantial and high transmission of COVID-19.
We thank you for your patience and cooperation in keeping our community healthy.
Please check back for updates.
We ask that all patrons respect social distancing and follow Library mask guidelines while visiting the Library.
We understand that some of our patrons are not comfortable with the new masking regulations. Therefore, the Library is happy to provide contact-free options for materials and Summer Reading Club reward pickup.
We continue to offer curbside pickup for materials. Book requests can be made through the catalog or over the phone for pick-up at your convenience. In addition, Youth and Adult Services staff are happy to pull materials for you through the “Surprise Me Bundle” service, based on the information you provide.
If you are part of our Summer Reading Club, Reading Colors Your World, and have reached a prize level, please come to the Library’s curbside pickup location in front of the Library. For children, call 630-879-1393 ext. 500. For adults and teens, call 630-879-1393 ext. 200. We will bring the rewards outside to you.
When your holds are ready for pick-up, you will receive an automated hold notice from SWAN by email, text, or phone (whichever method you have chosen for your account).
