The Barrie H. Thorpe / Batavia Public Library Collection of Phonograph Records

A collection of an estimated 48,000 phonograph records, mostly 78rpm records, that was given to the Batavia Public Library by the late Barry H. Thorpe of Aurora, Illinois, and then given by the Library to the Archive of Contemporary Music in New York to establish The Barrie H. Thorpe / Batavia Public Library Collection of Phonograph Records for purposes of preservation and digitization (by the Internet Archive in San Francisco).
